WWB Campus: Bringing International Literature into the Classroom

In 2014, Words Without Borders announced an exciting new education program: WWB Campus. Drawing from the magazine's rich archive of contemporary stories, essays, poems, and graphic literature in translation, WWB Campus connects students and educators to eye-opening contemporary writing from across the globe.

WWB Campus launched in spring 2017 with writing from Mexico, Egypt, China, Russia, and Japan. The Web site, wwb-campus.org, presents selected texts alongside multimedia contextual materials, ideas for lessons, and pathways for further exploration. Our goal is to create a virtual learning space without borders, fostering meaningful cross-cultural understandings and inspiring a lifelong interest in international literature.
